I was hurt! I had voluntarily offered a solution to a problem which was rejected on my face. I flipped out, isolated myself and began to cry like a baby.
And before I knew, I had broken a pen (??)into pieces! Aghhhh! Why? Why would I do that? Though it was easily breakable, such a destructive reaction was uncalled for and simply alarming to me. At that very moment, I gained back my consciousness. A thought crept in my mind immediately that may be this was a reminder given by my brain to keep a control on my emotions.
But I still wonder how come had I reached to such a state of mind in which I could cause harm to something? This needs to be corrected now!
All my rant might be like "First- World Problems" to read. But, the inner turmoil that I was going through was legit. I decided to get away with the negativity and wrote down the happenings and decided to analyse the situation and felt way better. It struck me then, that our mind is in a constant need of positive vibes. It might display its thirst in the form of anxiety or anger or frustration over trivial matters. But, we need to spot these signals and take charge of our thoughts. Positive vibes could be attracted by uplifting videos (the cute baby ones!), a small chat with your BFF, a romantic date with the love of your life, or reading positivist articles or in my case, writing down whatever I feel. The options are endless!
Our mind faces its own ups and downs. it's our perspective that matters. Good or bad, optimistic or pessimistic. It's our life.. we have got to decide what's good for us!
I am really amazed about the ability of the human mind to have such an immediate transition from negative to positive thoughts ..
I have to say, immediate expression of thoughts is not always healthy.. it may cause harm to oneself.. The thoughts we are about to think need to be thought through before thinking.. thoughts are like the path- makers of our life. They may give a positive or a negative turn to our entire being..
It's better to consciously take efforts of thinking good, wishing good, doing good..

Whoa!
It's been a hell of a roller coaster ride, this piece that I've written. To those who stuck with me till the end, I really appreciate these efforts taken by you!
Thanks a ton!
